I went out to the flightline to work on an F-4 fighter/bomber aircraft. I fixed the problem that it had, and signed off the write-up. I went back to the AMU (Aircraft Maintenance Unit) and noticed that lots of little fluid filled blisters began to form all over me. They were concentrated in folds of my skin. I was around 20 years old and really had no folds in my skin except where when I would pull my arms close to me or bend my knees. In those places there were many blisters, litteraly hundreds of them. I went in to the clinic and spoke with the doctor. He told me to go back to my room, take off my clothes, wash them really good, and take a very good bath. I did all that. Most of the blisters popped that day and some popped the next day. Every since then, my blood pressure, hct and hgb have been abnormally high. I've been diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (Primary).
Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. 1 Corinthians 13:4
