What Protection !!!

What protection!!! This is NOT a question, it's a statement. However, it leaves me wondering. How can our government protect us (Joe, average, everyday, citizen) from big things when they can't even protect from the smallest things.
Why are companies allowed to rob American citizens? If I took money from you for a week. You would file charges against me. The point that I'm going to give it back in a week it probably NOT going to deter your anger.
Well, there are companies that practice this robbery every day. Swiss Colony is one of them. Here is what I've written my bank about thier practice of theivery... it's illegal when we do it, it should be illegal when they do it. I don't want anyone taking my money for even a day, unless I'm getting something in return for it. That's my money and I worked hard for it. No one should have the right to charge us twice as money for a product, whether they tell us up-front or not. If a company or individual is selling a product for a specific amount of money. That is the exact price that should be charged, not double that price.
Our banks should also allow us to manage our accounts in such a way that a purchase cannot be made unless the money is in the bank. I'm not a scumbag congress person who believes in spending more money that I have. Unlike them, I have ethics. I'm not the greatest at math. That's why I use a scumbag bank, because they have computers that are supposed to prevent me from spending more money than I have in my account. That is exactly what I pay them for. Why can't I get them to do thier jobs???
At any rate, here is the epistle to my bank...

I am having trouble with Swiss Colony... I LOVE thier products however thier customer service and banking practices stink... Everytime that I buy anything from them, they charge me TWICE for the same product... I only purchase one item and they charge me double... even for a short period of time, this is STEALING... and it ALWAYS causes me to miscalculate how much money is my account... With NO other company do I have to pretend that I am purchasing items for twice the price, even for a short period of time... Can you please help me with this problem??? I've spoken with them and emailed them, to NO avail... as you can see from thier charges and my account balances they have done it to me again... YES!!! I am playing the blame game...
